Artrider Celebrates 25 Years!

From all of us at Artrider, we share the joy and celebration of our twenty-five-year anniversary with you.

When my husband, Jeff Sobel, and I started Artrider in the summer of 1982 we did it from
the perspective of working and exhibiting artists. We knew that if we treated our fellow artists fairly and with respect, and if we kept our artistic standards high, Artrider would be successful and our exhibitors would thrive.

We had a vision that we could create something great, but could never have imagined the success that Artrider has achieved twenty-five years later! And we never forget that our success is a result of your talent and hard work. So for that we thank you. Our shows are only as good as you are.

When I exhibited my cloisonné enamels at my first craft show in the late 1970's, I knew that I had come upon a world that I would never leave. I had no idea that a few years later I would exhibit at my own craft show and that a few years after that I would no longer be making jewelry but would be running some of the most successful craft shows in the country.

Thank you for your support,
Stacey Jarit, director

“Artrider is the only promoter to have five shows on my list. That’s more than any other organization including the American Craft Council (ACC). That’s tremendous!”
